We choose the topical theme, then leave it to listeners to compile the songs that fit. Presenter Jim Coulson plays the results. |

Jim is Scunthorpe's third most famous son (after Stephen Fretwell and Tony Jacklin) and gave up the opportunity to work on the town's steelworks by putting in some real hard graft on the wireless - erm, playing records and talking in-between. After starting out on Leeds Student Radio, broadcasting to hardly anyone, Jim took a job on the breakfast show of an early internet station, broadcasting to even fewer. As no one had bro, that didn't last long. After a stint broadcasting to student stations across the country, Jim moved to Hull, around the time the city was ranked the worst place to live in the UK, to work at Viking FM. Three years later, with his specialist indie show a roaring success, broadcasting to approximately fourteen people, Jim became the afternoon presenter at Kerrang! Radio. He subsequently spent a stint freelancing for various stations around the UK and getting increasingly sick of the inside of his Ford Ka and the M1 in general. Jim is also a stand up comedian around London, occasionally performing in more exotic locations. Well. Norwich.
