| Vicky still loves - and dresses like it is - the '90s, so much so she remains convinced Oasis are the best band in the world. Born and raised in (Costa Del) Blackpool, she went for work experience at her local station Rock FM aged 15 and instantly decided she wanted a job where she can talk 'bollocks', play music and take all the CDs home with her. She became an honorary Mackem while studying in Sunderland for three years, running the university's Dance Society (convincing the rugby team to do the Full Monty on stage), landing a one-off gig as Gareth Gates¹s backing dancer on the Pop Idol tour and handing out flyers for a Newcastle radio station. Her first radio job was producing a phone-in for Andy 'broom cupboard' Crane then became a presenter here, there and everywere around the north of England, playing anything from Meat Loaf to Kylie, and most recently has gone back to her roots at Rock FM. Vicky is a keen snowboarder (well, she¹s not that good but she loves the après ski action), loves charity shops, olde worlde pubs in the Lake District, Ibiza, Sunday lunch and G&T. As for her musical tastes, she loves the classic oldies - Kinks, Hendrix, Small Faces but Modest Mouse, Maximo Park and Hot Chip are on repeat at the moment too.
